European Universities Games (EUG) is one of the biggest sport events in Europe, in terms of participants it is the third on the list of the world’s greatest multisport events. EUSA, the organiser of this event make the Games happen every two years since 2012, where students of many European universities play against each other in different fields of sport. What makes it even more special, is that the athletes represent their universities, not primarily their countries. The Hungarian University Sports Federation alongside with the city of Debrecen and Miskolc, the University of Debrecen and the University of Miskolc organises EUG 2024 hosting 17 different sports during the period of 12-24 July, 2024, expecting to welcome approximately 4500 athletes representing 450 universities from 40 countries. This event will be the biggest in terms of university events held in Hungary since the 1965 Universiade.

- University of Debrecen – 4032 Debrecen, Egyetem tér 1.
- University of Miskolc – 3515 Miskolc, Egyetem út 1.
Volunteer work: some of the volunteers are expected to have shifts from 6 July, but most of them are going to work during competition days.

If you are already registered, check your data so everything is up-to-date. If you haven’t already registered, please, fill in all information about yourself correctly.
- Photo for the accredtitation
We need your photo so we can send it to the accreditation team. They will make you an accreditation card. With this card, you will have access to all the necessary places in connection with your position and work.
- Applying to EUG
If you have completed your profile and uploaded a photo, you can apply to our events. During this application, you can give us information about your availability during the event and your preferred positions. You can choose based on sports, city and date. If you are selected as volunteer, you will get your schedule based on the information you have given us. Your schedule will be sent out by email before the event. It is important to take into consideration that we need the most volunteers during competition, but the preparation period is also important part of the organisation process.
The information and availability given will be taken into consideration, however, there can be changes in the program so your schedule can be updated from time to time. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience it may cause.
We can give you a certificate of internship or community service if needed.
We fill in the positions on a first come, first served basis.
Please, consider everything when applying so you make our work easier when making your schedule, and we do not have to make major changes in order to get a substitution for your shift.
If you find out about any changes that may affect your participation, please, let us know immediately so we can search for another applicant instead of you.
